To think like a winner takes alot of effort. Its not as hard as people think though if you are willing to put the work in to be the person you want to be.
Most people spend their whole life trying to find out who they are, as if their lost or something when they should be creating who they want to be. Why be like everybody else when you can be who you really are.
Who are you? Will I am convinced that most people are more then one person. They are actually two or three sometimes four or five people in one body. This may sound a little strange but most people are like this because they want to change to suit their enviroment. They are one way with their wife another way with friends and another way at work. Sounds like alot of changing to be doing to make other people feel comfortable.
In this book I'm reading on mediation it talks about how we have an inner child inside us. The inner child will never die or go away it is us in essence. Lets look at kids for a minute. They don't have a care in the world they have no shame at all and everything they do or say is out of curiosity. But over the years of a kids life something changes dramatically. By the time a chid is 13 they hear the word no 100,000 times mixed with you can't do this and you can't do that and they end up just like us an adult conformed to society who has to settle for second best.
We then put up walls around us call sub-personalities so that little vulnerable child doesn't get hurt anymore. Instead of embracing it we surpress it deep within us. Hidden and protected we end up being something were not the rest of our worthless lives, settling like cows in the pasture waiting for our numbers to come up.
How do you be that person you so long to be you say? Simple!! You create him or her up in your mind and take on that person. Truthfully that person will take you on because he or she already exists you just won't let them live because of past experiences which make it to painful to let go and be that person.
Les brown said " Jump and grow your wings on the way down". In order to fly you must believe you will fly, before you believe you can fly you must think you can fly, then it shall be just like you saw it in your mind as if you done it thousands of times before.
